Dinner

According to Julian Payne, dinner starts at 8:30 pm sharp, and it's the King's main meal of the day. Former chef to the late Queen Elizabeth II Darren McGrady shared that one of his favorite meals is seared lamb with wild mushroom risotto, made with home-grown, foraged ingredients from his estate, of course.

And given that hunting is one of the King's favorite pastimes, he would often put different twists on classic dishes with wild game. According to Insider, such recipes have included coq au vin with grouse (a type of game bird) and grouse moussaka. Pheasant crumble pie is another dish he's fond of.
