Po' Boy
Po' boys are native to the state of Louisiana and particularly to New Orleans. They come in countless variations, usually prepared with meat or fried seafood, such as shrimp, oysters, crawfish, or crab and served on a long, fluffy baguette-style bread. Typical toppings include fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayonnaise. Much like the other popular sandwiches on this list, there are conflicting accounts as to how po' boys came to be.
