Don't Drink Coffee First Thing in the Morning

Apparently, the best time to drink your morning cup of coffee is between 9:30 and noon. That's because before that time, naturally produced cortisol is helping your body wake up on its own. Drinking coffee may actually curb the hormone's production and disrupt its natural cycle, causing you to produce cortisone at an inopportune moment (like before bed). During the previously mentioned time frame, your cortisol levels are sufficiently low, which makes it the ideal window for coffee consumption.
