Chianti and Parmesan

Chianti is a bold red wine, with flavors of balsamic vinegar, espresso, and dark, red fruits. It's a dry wine and hails from the Italian region of Tuscany, so it's a good thing it works so well with Parmesan! The nutty flavors and crumbly texture of the aged cheese balances this red wine's fruity notes and makes for the perfect pairing.
