Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients for 36 cookies
1 cup (225 g) salted butter, softened
1 cup (200 g) granulated white sugar
1 cup (170 g) light brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups (400 g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
2 cups (320 g) chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190° C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla, and beat until you get a fluffy texture.
In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
Add the dry ingredients gradually, 1/3 at a time, mixing between each addition until just combined.
Add the chocolate chips but set aside a handful for forming the final cookies.
Mix well until the chocolate chips are evenly incorporated.
Using about 2 to 3 tablespoons of dough per cookie, roll it into balls before placing on the prepared baking sheet (or sheets, if you need two).
Bake in the preheated oven for 4 to 5 min., then rotate the baking sheet.
Bake for 4 to 5 min. more, and remove immediately when the edges begin to brown.
Let stand on the baking sheet for about 2 min. before transferring to a cooling rack.
Serve and enjoy!
