Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies
For the perfect chocolate chip cookies, try this no-fail recipe.
Ingredients for 36 cookies
- 1 cup (225 g) salted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated white sugar
- 1 cup (170 g) light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups (400 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2 cups (320 g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190° C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla, and beat until you get a fluffy texture.
- In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
- Add the dry ingredients gradually, 1/3 at a time, mixing between each addition until just combined.
- Add the chocolate chips but set aside a handful for forming the final cookies.
- Mix well until the chocolate chips are evenly incorporated.
- Using about 2 to 3 tablespoons of dough per cookie, roll it into balls before placing on the prepared baking sheet (or sheets, if you need two).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 4 to 5 min., then rotate the baking sheet.
- Bake for 4 to 5 min. more, and remove immediately when the edges begin to brown.
- Let stand on the baking sheet for about 2 min. before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Serve and enjoy!
