Cheesy Garlic Knots

Cheesy garlic knots are the ultimate quick-and-easy crowd-pleaser, perfect for potlucks, parties, or whenever you’re craving something warm and cheesy. With the help of premade biscuit dough, you can whip these up in 30 minutes or less! Soft and golden with a gooey cheese filling and brushed with a garlicky herb butter, these knots are irresistible.

Ingredients (for 8 servings):

For the Knots:

  • 1 can (16 oz) premade biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 cubes
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (for dusting)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and separate the biscuit dough into 8 individual pieces. Flatten each piece slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center of each dough round. Fold the dough around the cheese, pinching the edges together to seal. Roll gently between your palms to form a ball, then shape it into a knot by rolling it into a short log and tying it loosely.
  4. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Bake for 15-18 min., or until golden brown.
  5. While the knots bake, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, and salt in a small bowl.
  6. Once the knots are out of the oven, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter.
  7. Transfer the cheesy garlic knots to a serving platter and serve warm. Pair them with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
