2 oz peach purée (from fresh or canned peaches)
1/2 oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime)
4 oz ginger ale, chilled
Ice cubes
Peach slice and lime wedge for garnish
Fresh ginger, grated, to taste
Instructions:
For homemade peach purée, blend peeled and pitted fresh or canned peaches until smooth. If needed, add a touch of water for a thinner consistency.
In a glass, combine the peach purée and lime juice, stirring to blend. To enhance the ginger flavor, grate a small amount of fresh ginger into the mix before adding the ginger ale.
Fill the glass with ice cubes, then pour in the chilled ginger ale. Stir gently to mix.
