Sparkling Lavender Lemonade
This mocktail is a refreshing twist on classic lemonade, elevated with a delicate floral touch. The aromatic lavender pairs beautifully with the zesty brightness of fresh lemon juice, while sparkling water adds a bubbly texture that makes each sip feel celebratory. Ingredients (serves 1):
- 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup*
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
- 4 oz sparkling water, chilled
- Ice cubes
- Garnish: 1 sprig of fresh lavender and a lemon wheel
Instructions:
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Add the lavender simple syrup and fresh lemon juice to the glass.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender and a lemon wheel for an elegant finish.
*To make lavender simple syrup, simmer 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or a sugar substitute), and 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Strain and cool before using. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
