Sparkling Lavender Lemonade

This mocktail is a refreshing twist on classic lemonade, elevated with a delicate floral touch. The aromatic lavender pairs beautifully with the zesty brightness of fresh lemon juice, while sparkling water adds a bubbly texture that makes each sip feel celebratory. Perfect for brunches, gatherings, or simply unwinding, this drink offers a sophisticated and alcohol-free way to toast to Dry January.

Ingredients (serves 1):

  • 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup*
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
  • 4 oz sparkling water, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: 1 sprig of fresh lavender and a lemon wheel

Instructions:

  1. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  2. Add the lavender simple syrup and fresh lemon juice to the glass.
  3. Pour in the chilled sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender and a lemon wheel for an elegant finish.

*To make lavender simple syrup, simmer 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or a sugar substitute), and 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Strain and cool before using. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
