Aluminium foil

For safety reasons, it is important to highlight that you should not use aluminum foil in your air fryer. Although it is a useful accessory when baking, it is not when using your air fryer: if you cover your food with aluminum, the air will not circulate properly, and the heat buildup could damage the fryer. Not only can this lead to uneven cooking, but it can also pose a fire hazard. If you were considering using it to line the base of the basket to keep it clean, you should instead use perforated parchment paper, which you can find in supermarkets. This allows for proper air circulation while still making cleanup easier and safer.
