Preparing Hollandaise sauce might seem intimidating to many, but it’s actually quite simple to make. It’s not only a delight during asparagus season but also transforms plain boiled potatoes into a delicious meal.
Ingredients (serves 4):
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp mustard
1/2 cup melted and cooled butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Blend the egg yolks thoroughly in a blender.
Add the lemon juice and mustard, and blend again.
Slowly add the melted butter while blending, but do not blend for too long.
