Ingredients (for 16 pieces):
16 cremini or button mushrooms, stems removed
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
¼ cup cream cheese, softened
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix shredded cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap, slightly mounding the filling.
In a small bowl, toss breadcrumbs with olive oil, then sprinkle over the stuffed mushrooms.
Bake for 18-20 min, until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
