Your friends

Right after you give birth, all of your friends come around to see how you're doing and to meet the baby. But it won't last long. Because not all of your friends really care about what it's like to be a new parent, and sometimes you'll find that you've lost touch with even your closest girl or guy friends. You're rarely invited out because they know you'll usually say no (babysitters are expensive after all), and you don't want them coming over and seeing the diaper and laundry bomb has exploded in your home. That said, you might find yourself becoming closer with your parent-friends, since they can offer you real help and precious advice.
