If you only have sugar cubes, simply toss them into your food processor. Or depending on the cake, you can replace granulated sugar with honey or maple syrup (just remember they're even sweeter). For diabetics, combine 2 scoops powdered milk with 2 scoops cornstarch and 1 scoop artificial sweetener, such as Truvia.
