For this sophisticated version, combine 4 ice cubes, 7 mint leaves, the juice of 1/2 lime and 2/3 ounce cane sugar syrup. Pour into a glass, add a bit of crushed ice, 1 1/3 ounces of rum, some sparkling water and finish with 1 1/3 ounces Saint Raphael (apéritif de France wine).
