Xacuti

Xacuti is a spicy, exotic chicken curry native to Goa, India. It has a complex flavor profile emanating from the delicious roasted spice blend that's made into a paste and combined with white poppy seeds, grated coconut and Kashmiri chilies. To prepare, bone-in skinless chicken is first marinated then coated in the fiery paste and cooked covered on low heat until tender. You should add boiling water at the end, so the sauce becomes gravy-like. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve on a bed of white rice or with Indian flatbread on the side.
