Figs

Figs are sweet, soft fruits that up the presentation for even the simplest of dishes. Make sure to select the freshest, ripest ones you can find. Always rinse and pat dry before consuming, and twist off the stems. Serve halved figs on cheese platters, on open-faced tartines or wrapped in bacon and lightly broiled. They're also beautiful and delicious in fruit pies and pair well with nuts, strong aromatics, spices and herbs, and dairy products.
