Storing the Cookies

Unless you're baking shortly before a big get-together or event, you're probably going to need to store your cookies for anywhere from a few hours to a few days. To ensure that your cookies stay soft and fresh for as long as possible, choose an airtight container and make sure you properly seal it, then store it in a cool and dry environment. Under these conditions, your cookies won't harden or go stale too quickly, ensuring they last for several weeks.
