Kentucky - Patti's 1880's Settlement

The meringue pies sold at Patti's 1800's Settlement in Grand Rivers reach lofty proportions, standing at least 3 inches tall and boasting some beautiful meringue peaks. The popular Kentucky eatery is also known for its famous "Sawdust Pie" (don't worry, it doesn't REALLY have sawdust in or on it), made with eggs, sugar, graham cracker crumbs, pecans, coconut and pie crust.
