We've all been there. We get home from the grocery store with a ton of veggies, telling ourselves we're not going to waste any of the produce this week. And by the end of the week, or for certain veggies, the end of the month, we peel/cut them to find they've gone bad. To avoid food waste and cut down on prep time, take fresh, whole veggies and chop or slice them up. Then toss into individual giant freezer bags (or mix 'em up according to specific recipes such as stir-fries, soups or Mexican dishes) and take what you need later on.
