The food served at Cabbages and Condoms in Thailand is "guaranteed not to cause pregnancy", and this restaurant is not shy about promoting safe sex. Condoms are everywhere: decorating tables, lighting fixtures, mannequins and even occasionally the heads of servers as they ferry food back and forth. The restaurant chain provides HIV/AIDS prevention services for the people of Thailand, and this good cause, plus the surprisingly elegant and beautiful location, explain its success.
