What Are Chicken Nuggets Made Of?

To make things worse, chicken nuggets contain a staggeringly high sodium content, between 600 and 800mg in each nugget and a half. Recommended sodium intake by the World Health Organization is 2000 and 3000mg per day, meaning that when you eat just one and a half nuggets, you've already consumed 30-40% of your daily intake!

Even more, this "food" contains dextrose, which is like glucose. However, manufacturers prefer to use this term so that people don't associate chicken nuggets with a high sugar content. And, as if this even needed a cherry on top, each serving (which is a nugget and a half) contains at least 10g of saturated fat (maybe more). Imagine how much fat you consume when you eat several!
