What started as a brotherly enterprise in San Diego has grown into a celebrated local specialty sandwich shop, thanks to the friendly service and handmade subs. The sub rolls are imported from famed east-coast bakery Amoroso Baking Co., while premium and high-quality ingredients are used to craft the delicious recipes. If you're a pastrami-lover, you've gotta get the "General," layered with juicy pastrami, swiss cheese, Russian dressing and crunchy coleslaw. Available in 9-, 12- and 18-inch sizes, we'd suggest the big one. That way, even if you can't finish it all in one sitting, you still have more for later on.
