Sometimes you gotta get away from the big cities and set out in exploration of small-town gems like Gorgers up in Ithaca, New York. Serving the prestigious student population of Cornell University and longtime locals, this casual sub shop serves up some marvelous, globally inspired sandwiches, such as the "Cabernet Steak." It's a sophisticated combo of steak, sharp cheddar, onions and lettuce with a red wine reduction. Sounds French, doesn't it?
