How to defrost bread so it tastes freshly baked

If you forgot to take it out of the freezer before hand, speed up the defrosting by putting it in the microwave on low heat with a cup of water for a minute or two at a time (bread doesn't contain much moisture so it defrosts quickly). Then follow the oven-heating step as usual.
