Waste not, want not?

Sadly, the words "buffet" and "waste" go together like peas and carrots, as even the most reasonable eater can overestimate their appetite when faced with a tempting buffet.

Buffet Boss explained that while a lot of food is thrown away, approximately half of the leftovers at their restaurant are reprocessed. Strict safety regulations apply, but when they can reuse food, they do. "You can turn so much stuff into soup, and [it] will still taste fresh." . Considering that $165 billion worth of food is wasted every year in the US every year, we applaud them.
