You Have a Better Sex Life

And it's not just because you feel more attractive and confident after you've lost weight (although that's not wrong, either!). Losing weight has also been proven in several studies to improve your sexual health, desire, and satisfaction due to more than just psychological changes.

And this goes for both men and women. This study from Penn State College of Medicine focused on the effects it had on obese women, finding that weight loss over the course of a year had a significant positive impact on sexual desire and arousal. For men, being overweight or obese is often linked with lowered levels of testosterone, but this study found that losing weight helped boost those hormone levels.
