Christy's Donuts & Kolaches in Houston doesn't have a website or even an official Facebook page, and yet it clearly doesn't need the publicity, given its everlasting popularity and status as  a go-to donut spot for locals and out-of-towners alike. It's not a late-night option, so make sure you go early to get the best selection of classic melt-in-your-mouth donuts. Prices are cheap, and service is friendly. Other Houstonians might argue Shipley's is better, but it's not a mom-and-pop, so the game is already over.
