Here's another beloved local donut shop on the other side of the country. Since 1950, Beach Donut Shop has been providing Clinton, Connecticut residents with their daily sugar rush in the form of both quirky and classic donut flavors, including the ever-popular sour cream or the lemon delight. What's more, last year the shop began producing donut cakes, which are about the size of a large pizza and come in both O-shaped varieties or creme-filled.
