The Great British Baking Show, or The Great British Bake Off as it's known in its native UK, is everyone's not-so-guilty pleasure. The feel-good baking competition show is known for its pleasant atmosphere despite the rigorous challenges. Every season, home bakers from all over the UK compete to become "star baker," facing 9 themed weeks of skilled baking—in the end, they win nothing more than a cake stand and the title. The show, which airs on PBS in the US, can be streamed on Netflix.

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
