Eggs are high in protein, making them a necessity when doing sports. Protein provides our bodies with energy both before and after physical exercise.

Hard boiled eggs are a great choice because not only are they easy to prepare, but they can also be slipped into a gym bag or purse to eat whenyou're on the go.

But don't just eat the egg white - the yolk has more calories and is better right before a workout. 

Prepare a whole bunch of hard boiled eggs in advance, and keep them in your fridge to add to salads and sandwiches after exercising.

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
