Eat Leftovers within Four Days

Lastly, as visions of turkey sandwiches dance through your head, remember that you have a maximum of four days to eat your leftovers. Not only will you notice a decline in taste and quality at this point, but there could also be some harmful bacteria lurking—no matter how well your fridge works. If you know you won't be able to finish in time, consider asking your guests to bring tupperware so they can take leftovers home after Thanksgiving dinner, or reserve some portions in the freezer.
