Not all Olympic athletes can eat...

massive amounts of food. German Olympic judo silver and bronze medalist Eduard Trippel released a YouTube video detailing his breakfast at a Japanese food booth during the current 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Saying he needed to lose weight, Trippel opted for: peaches, Japanese soup and teriyaki fish with broccoli and carrots. He also mentioned being jealous of what his fellow Olympians were able to eat, with the food being so good, and yet judoka (judo athletes) can't overindulge. In fact, the sport requires athletes to regularly maintain or lose weight, depending on their targeted fighting weight. That does sound pretty disappointing!
