Pressure Cooker Mistakes You Should Never Make

Using the wrong heat settings

If using a stovetop pressure cooker, don't start it out over low heat. This could prevent the liquid from ever reaching the boiling point, and you need enough heat in there to trigger both the evaporation and steam. Once the pressure cooker reaches pressure, you can then lower the heat to a simmer.

If using an electric pressure cooker, you won't have to worry about the heat levels, as it will adjust them automatically.
