Salmon

Wild salmon is a terrific source of omega-3s, which are fatty acids that promote heart, skin and brain health. They are rich in anti-inflammatory substances and can provide constant relief from inflammation, reducing the need for medical treatments. One thing to keep in mind is that wild-caught salmon differs from farmed salmon in its composition, health benefits, and of course, price. Farmed salmon does have slightly more omega-3s than wild salmon, but it also contains more contaminants and may involve the use of antibiotics, which are both harmful to the environment and to our health. Wild salmon is certainly costlier, but if you are concerned about your health, it could be worth the investment.
