Peanut Butter

Jarred peanut butter is definitely one of the longer lasting foodstuffs on this list, but it's not completely imperishable. You'll know it's bad if it has a weird smell and the flavor has become overly rancid. It probably won't make you ill, but it won't be pleasant to eat. Also, if it begins to separate, that's fine. Just stir with a spoon until it's combined and creamy again.
