Almond Joy

Coconut-flavored, crunchy almond and milk chocolate candy bar Almond Joy was created by the Peter Paul Candy Manufacturing Company and introduced in 1946, 26 years after its sister bar Mounds was released. In the 1970's, founder Peter Paul used the jingle combining both brand names: "Sometimes you feel like a nut / Sometimes you don't / Almond Joy's got nuts / Mounds don't." Today, the product is owned and manufactured by Hershey's.
