Things You Should Always Know When Buying in Bulk

Freeze First

If you do end up buying produce in bulk, consider portioning out what you need for the following week and freezing the rest. Frozen fruits will retain their nutrients and freshness for about one year, and veggies are good for 18 months (they'll still be OK to eat after those time periods; they just might not taste as fresh). Just make sure you have enough space in your freezer first!
