Syrup: Add in all ingredients of Ingredient 1 in a medium sauce pot

  • Syrup (or Golden syrup):

  • Crust:
  • 5) 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tbsp water;
  • 6) 2/3 cup syrup, 1/4 cup corn oil (48g);
  • 7) 1.5 cup all-purpose flour (235g);
  • Egg wash:
  • 8) 1 egg yolk and 1 tbsp water, mix well.
