- Rum Sauce:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs beaten until frothy
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup dark rum
- Soft Cream:
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1/3 cup icing sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp brandy
- 2 Tbsp Frangelico liqueur
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Susan's Thimble Cookies

- 2 separated eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla

Grandma's Caesar Salad

Prepare lettuce by washing and drying thoroughly, and placing separated leaves in a plastic bag
- 1 large head romaine lettuce
- 1 halved garlic clove
- 1/3 cup oil (75ml)
- 1 cup french bread cubes with crusts removed
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard

- 3 anchovy filets (drained and chopped)
