Heat oven to 350F. Lightly grease or line mini muffin tins

  • 14 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 cup melted Butter
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1-1/2 cups finely crushed animal cracker cookies
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • Icing sugar for decoration

It isn't Christmas without these! Try to change it up by using Boubon or a Liqueur in place of the rum!

  • 1 cup Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Rum (or Bourbon/Liqueur)
  • 2-1/2 cups Crushed Vanilla Wafers
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts (optional)
  • 1/3 cup Confectioner's Sugar
  • Sprinkles
  • You will need: Double broiler - a pot with 3" of water in it, with another smaller pot or heat-safe bowl that fits completely on top of it. The steam will melt the chocolate without the threat of burning the chocolate.

Lovely treat with no candy thermometer required!

  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 3 tbsp Heavy Cream
  • 8 x 1oz squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Orange Liqueur or Orange Extract Flavouring
  • 1 tsp Grated Orange Zest
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • You Need:
  • * Double Boiler - a pot with 3" of water in it, with another smaller pot or heat-safe bowl sitting on top of it. Put it on medium heat. This is to melt the chocolate using the steam of the bottom pot without the danger of burning the chocolate.
  • * Waxed Paper.
  • * Melon Baller (only if you have one on hand)
  • * Shallow baking dish
  • * Baking Sheet
