Mix the flour, baking soda, sugar, and salt together
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Tandoori Chicken 1. Poke raw chicken thighs in several places with a fork
- Tandoori Chicken
- 10 large boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 21/4 lbs / 1.1 kg)
- ½ cup bottled Tandoori marinade (see Tip)
- Butter Chicken Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 ½ cups chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 ½ tablespoons grated gingerroot
- 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder
- ¾ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ¾ teaspoon ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 can (28 oz/798 mL) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 ½ cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup light sour cream (not fat-free)
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon cashew/almond butter (Tip)

Easy baked tandoori chicken
- 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into big pieces (I used chicken thigh)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric (turmeric powder)
- 1½ tsp ground coriander (coriander powder)
- ½ tsp ground fennel (fennel powder)
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp ground black pepper (black pepper powder)
- 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
- 3 tsp paprika

- For the salad~
- ½ cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 2 tbsp ground garlic
- 1 serrano pepper, minced finely
- 1-2 tsp cayenne pepper or Indian red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- salt
- pepper
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup grape tomatoes
- 1 english cucumber sliced thin
- 2-3 avocado diced
- juice of half lemon
- salt, as required
- For the dressing~
- 2-3 sprigs mint
- ½ tsp ground garlic
- juice of half lemon
- 1 cup fat free plain yogurt
- 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise(optional)

- pepper
- ½ tsp sesame seeds(optional)
