There's always an excuse to eat pasta, but this might be the best one yet. So, why not get that oven on, get your fave ingredients together (must include a heap of cheese!), and rustle up you fave pasta bake — the perfect comforting meal for fall. Even better, pasta bake is easy to prepare post-work and even more delicous the following day.

The Perfect Noodle

Although elbow-shaped pasta is often used in a pasta bake, there are other varieties that work just as well — if not better.

Grooved pasta types such as penne, rigatoni, or spirelli are the best as they absorb the sauce nicely, but make sure to avoid smooth pasta as the sauce simply won't stick.
