Easter pâté is a traditional dish in the Berry region of France. This is a pâté made with pork and beef, seasoned with shallots, parsley and spices. It's covered with puff pastry crust and contains whole boiled eggs inside, which appear in rounds in each slice. Because everyone loves this pâté so much, it is prepared throughout the year, although it does remain emblematic of the Easter season.
