Quantity v. Quality

Some may argue that food is more important than religion in France. That might sound a little provocative, but it is actually how people live. Many French people buy their daily bread (literally, every day) at the bakery, their meat at the butcher, and their veggies at the independant grocery store or market.

The entire day can be taken up shopping for the right produce at the right shop, but that's part of the enjoyment; seeking good quality produce to make healthy, tasty meals.
