Tagliatelle with Veggies

This recipe is delicious, and makes it easier for children to eat their veggies! Plus, you don't need complicated ingredients to make it.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 3 beef fillets
  • 2 cups tagliatelle
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 Chinese cabbage or 1/4 regular cabbage
  • 1 green bell bell pepper
  • 2 cups of frozen or steamed broccoli
  • Soy sauce (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2-3 tbsp water

Instructions:

  1. Cut the steak into pieces, as well as the onion, Chinese cabbage, bell bell pepper and carrots (peeled).
  2. Cook the noodles according to package directions.
  3. Start by steaming the broccoli and carrots (if the broccoli is not pre-cooked and frozen) for 10 min.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion for a couple of minutes. Then add the meat and cook until it changes color.
  5. Next, also sauté the bell bell pepper and cabbage, stirring from time to time, about 5 min.
  6. Finally add the carrots and broccoli. Mix the starch with the cold water, pour into the pan and season with soy sauce.
  7. Add the noodles and stir a couple of times before serving.

  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
