We've all gushed about good-looking waiters and waitresses at some point, especially when they're charming and polite and they create a fun dining experience for everyone. However, flirting with the waitstaff can often lead to dangerous and unwelcome territory. Not to mention, it can make them feel uncomfortable or obligated to flirt back, in order to earn a good tip. Know the boundaries of what is appropriate and what is not: ie. no touching, no aggressive comments. In other words, you can flatter someone without provoking a lawsuit.
