Ingredient (for 12 pieces):
6 fresh figs
2 oz (about 57g) soft goat cheese
3 slices of prosciutto, halved lengthwise
6 small sprigs of fresh rosemary (for garnish)
Honey (for drizzling, optional)
Balsamic glaze (for drizzling, optional)
Instructions:
Wash and dry the figs. Slice each fig in half lengthwise, from stem to bottom, to create 12 halves in total.
Spread a small amount of goat cheese onto the cut side of each fig half.
Wrap each fig half with a halved slice of prosciutto, securing it around the fig.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the prosciutto-wrapped figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Bake for 10-12 min. or until the prosciutto is slightly crispy and the figs are warmed through.
Remove the baked figs from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish each fig with a small sprig of fresh rosemary.
Arrange the figs on a serving platter and drizzle the figs with honey or balsamic glaze for extra flavor and sweetness, if desired.
