No brunch celebration is complete without a flavorful bloody mary with, perhaps, a little bit of spice. Leave the premade mixes in the past and wow Mom with a mix you made from scratch, and don’t forget to make a toast!
Rim seasoning: Celery salt, black pepper, paprika (mixed together)
Instructions:
In a large pitcher, combine the tomato juice, lemon juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, black pepper, and horseradish (if desired). Stir well to combine.
Taste the mix and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add more hot sauce for extra heat or more Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
Next, prepare the rim of a highball or Collins glass by running a lemon or lime wedge around the edge.
Dip the rim of the glass into a plate of the rim seasoning mixture, coating it evenly.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Add vodka and homemade Bloody Mary mix to the glass and stir gently until well combined.
Garnish the cocktail with a celery stalk and a wedge of lemon or lime. Add any additional garnishes you desire, such as olives, pickles, shrimp, bacon, or cheese.
