The Sea Shack in Hilton Head has a fitting motto: "Not Fancy, Just Good!" And they definitely deliver on both claims! The small, no-frills restaurant retains a certain diner-like feel with made-to-order dishes served on styrofoam plates. But it's what comes out of the kitchen that matters—seriously good seafood platters cooked three ways (grilled, fried or blackened), po' boys, peel-and-eat shrimp, combo plates, you name it. Everything comes in generous portions, so you won't leave hungry. Just be prepared for long waits if yo go during peak season.
