Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings

Firing up the grill is the perfect way to enjoy time outside with family and friends, and these grilled lemon garlic chicken wings are a zesty and flavorful addition to any summer gathering! Marinated in a bright and aromatic blend of fresh lemon juice, garlic, and herbs, these wings are grilled to perfection, making each bite as deliciously crispy and juicy as the next! Garnished with fresh parsley and served with lemon wedges, these wings are a must-try at your next outdoor party.

Ingredients (for 24 wings):

  • 24 chicken wings (about 4-5 lb)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the wings from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Place the wings on the grill and cook for 20-25 min., turning occasionally, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  5. Transfer the grilled wings to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup / 50g of softened butter
  • 1 egg (divide the yolk and white)
  • 1/4 cup / 50g of sugar
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup / 150g of flour
  • 1 cup / 100g of chopped nuts
  • Salted caramel
  • Melted dark chocolate

METHOD:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the butter, egg yolk, sugar, and salt.

  2. Add the flour and mix. Roll into a ball.

  3. Chill for 30 minutes.

  4. Remove from refrigerator. Divide the dough and roll into 1-inch balls.

  5. Dip each ball in egg yolk, and then roll in chopped nuts.

  6. Place on baking sheet (lined with parchment paper), and press your thumb into the center.

  7. Bake at 340°F/170°C for 12 minutes, or until golden.

  8. Remove from oven and let cool.

  9. Pour the salted caramel into the center groove,and drizzle with dark chocolate.
